It all began as a serendipitous meeting, in the summer of 2022, between two American female solo travelers in London. Although they came from different backgrounds, Victoria, a healthcare & biotech entrepreneur, a writer & travel blogger, bonded over their shared interest in female empowerment, food, adventure, travel, and exploration of the world at large.

C.S. Lewis wrote, “Friendship is born at that moment when one person says to another: “What! You too? I thought I was the only one.” While sharing life stories, they discovered that they recently suffered the losses of loved ones and believed that forming connections during travel is essential to healing. It is widely accepted that it is hard, if not impossible, to forge friendships as an adult. By investing in developing a meaningful connection, Victoria found growth opportunities and experiences that they wanted to share with other mature women 50 and over.

When Victoria approached to partner with her in bringing the idea of N.E.D. Global Connections (GC) to life, the seeds of this movement were planted.

Irish poet, W.B. Yeats said, “There are no strangers, only friends you have not met yet.”

NEDGC is a supportive community for women ages 50+ to exchange ideas, share knowledge, engage in the world, and forge meaningful connections through shared adventures.
